Ummera’s Smoked Chicken Breast Crown is the original Irish smoked chicken — a recipe nearly sixty years in the making, since founder Keith Creswell first set out to bring more flavour to the everyday bird. Made from chickens reared and processed in Clonakilty, each crown is cured overnight in a brine of pure sea salt and organic raw cane sugar, then cooked and gently smoked over glowing oak sawdust fires in West Cork. The result is moist, succulent, and full of flavour — delicious sliced thinly for a salad or sandwich, or stirred through pasta with a white sauce and some smoky bacon. Dairy-free, gluten-free, and nut-free.
